Four years ago, I traded the pines of North Carolina for the wide-open spaces of Missouri—and somewhere along the way, I found my husband and a whole lot of animals! Together we run what we lovingly call our “funny farm,” filled with chickens, goats, cows, dogs and nonstop chaos (the good kind). I’ve got a degree in Culinary Arts and Business Management, but when I’m not whipping something up in the kitchen, teaching myself how to homestead, or wrangling farm life, you’ll usually find me outdoors—gardening, hunting, fishing, and especially coyote hunting all winter long (our version of date night). I also have a big crafty side and love getting creative with DIY projects whenever I can steal a quiet moment. Life's a little wild and raw out here, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
