What can I do at the Community Learning Center?

The Community Learning Center offers classes to teach you new skills, the ability to explore your creativity through fun classes and activities, play games with friends, or just hang out and relax. See the monthly calendar for more details.

How do I know what's going on at the Community Learning Center?

Each month, the Center publishes a monthly calendar of activities, which is printed and posted on our website & Facebook page. Even if nothing is scheduled at the time you want to visit, you are welcome to come hang out- there is always something to do at the Community Learning Center!

How much does each activity cost?

All activities at the Center are FREE! Some scheduled community activities may offer opportunities for you to make purchases such as Coffee & Cards or require fees for your active participation such as bowling at Leisure World.

Can I bring a friend with me?

Absolutely! Friends, family, and staff members are welcome. All visitors must fill out a waiver for the Community Learning Center, which will be provided to you by the center staff.

How do I get to the Community Learning Center?

The facility is located at 1107 Country Club Dr. The building is right behind the Country Club Inn and Suites and across the street from Colton's Steakhouse in Kirksville, MO. The Community Learning Center is also a stop on the Kirk-Tran Deviated Fixed Route.

Do I have to register for classes?

Most activities at the Center do not require registration, with a few exceptions (a few examples are Cooking Class, Project STIR Class, and Feel Better Now). If a class requires prior registration, it will be indicated on the monthly calendar.
