Sean Jacob

Sean is a High School graduate of St. Mary’s Secondary School in Galway, Ireland (which is 'Colaiste Chroi Mhuire' in Irish), and also graduated from Davis College in Johnson City, New York. Sean began working in the DD services field with Southern Tier Independence Center in Binghamton, New York, just after graduating from college, and has loved working in this field ever since. In the Kirksville area, Sean supported people with disabilities with Chariton Valley Association as a Lead Support Professional as well as a Community Support Specialist, and served people with mental illnesses for Preferred Family Healthcare as a CSS, before coming to Adair County SB40 as a Service Coordinator in January of 2016. Sean became a Service Coordination Team Lead in June 2018 and accepted the position of Director of Service Coordination in August or 2021. Sean has a wife and 5 children (with another on the way). Sean enjoys spending time with his family, soccer, reading, spicy food, and traveling.

In his new position, Sean says, "Short term, I’m hoping to foster and encourage the growth of a highly motivated and interdependent team of Service Coordinators to continue to give excellent case management services to the people with developmental disabilities and their families in our area. Long term, I’m hoping that the great services our TCM have been giving can be taken to another level, and that every team member would have the shared desire to always be improving what we do for the people we serve."
