NOW HIRING - Service Coordinator
The Adair County SB40 is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide targeted case management services, within a person-centered support and planning framework, for persons with developmental disabilities. For a caseload of approximately 35-40 people, under the TCM program, service coordinators are responsible for ensuring that individuals receiving supports have access to and receive services that meet their needs. This position will be also responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the services and supports being given.
Service Coordinators will possess core competencies such as disability values and knowledge to understand and articulate the philosophies and practices related to support individuals with disabilities; self awareness to recognize and respond to any personal or professional values or behavior that may interfere with the ability to provide supports in an ethical, unbiased, and culturally competent manner; professionalism to develop and utilize personal and professional skills in a responsible and responsive manner; and engagement to maintain a relationship with the individual and their team.
The position requires one of the following qualifications: a registered nurse license or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
